Pollock, Blair:
(Lohikan's Camp Greeley '61-'67; Camper, CIT, and Staff) Hi to all those there
in the 60's before we went and did other crazy things, we went through some
summers together. Bruce Belzer, Robbie Selzer, David Chumsey, Barbara
Mermelstein, Sue Cohen, Peter Sklarew, Steve Picker, Yacko, Stuey Bell, Steve
Coleman, the rest of you know who you are. Question for the geriatric campers
among us? When you listen to the oldies station and hear "Theme from a
summer place" what images come up? I spent '66 in the Lodge with the
waiters, busboys and those flying bats. My fantasy is a reunion for those of us
who were summer campers in the '60's at Lohikan. I look forward to my other
early Lohikanites getting on line! bpollock@co.orange.nc.us

counselor and swimming instructor. Hello to any other Lake Greeley folks
who remember me. I sure remember: Bert Sklar, Chuck Burk, Jon Weiss,
Sue Kent, Pete Sklarew (and Larry), Ellen Greenberg, Steve and Robbie Selzer,
Sandy G., Stan Laktascik (?), and all of those then 12 year old boys that I
taught to swim! I would love to hear from you. Warm regards to the
whole Buynak clan! Contact Gail at zucker.wood@verizon.net.

2/1/04 Update: I have a copy of "Lohikan
Speakin", the camp newsletter of 1964. It includes names and
addresses of all the counselors of that year, plus the "last will and
testament" of the same. I drew the cover, a rather crude rendition of
the '64 Olympics. I'd be happy to send a copy to any of the old crew who
would like one. You can contact me at rikwrite@aol.com.
