Hey everyone Sammy here. Wow it has been so long since I was last at camp. Looking at this is makeing my reamber all the great times at camp. I will never forget the time my best friend and I were out on a boat and we both somehow fell of and in the gross water. It was so funny. Hopefully I will come back some day and see everyone at camp now.

Julie and her brother Jared were campers at Camp Lohikan the year it reopened at the Sno-Hill site. Also Julie’s mother was a camper with Mark Buynak…a long time ago! I spent three memorable summers at Camp Lohikan in the late 80`s. You other 80`s campers will remember- we were there before the pool. When if you wanted to go swimming it meant making the long haul down (and then back up) the hill to the Lake. As I read the messages, I remember so many names and such good times. I still sing what I call my camp songs and have the best memories of my camp years. When I saw Titanic I could only smile and think of campfires and the singing. I had a wonderful counselor Diane picker who made me run around the bunk casue I talked during rest. Loved all the activities and think I am the well rounded person I am because of my camp experiences. i still think I am as good an athlete as I was then.. Playing tennis at 52, only doubles. i even remember and liked the bug juice. anyone there when I was, get in touch. I was from Roslyn, Long Island. Thanks for the memories and adding only positive expereinces to my life.

This is Will Mariner, I was Lohikan in the Summer 2000 with a couple of other English Guys Rob Green and Rob Morrison. We`re all back in England doing ok. Just thought I`d let you know that Amy Sobeckfrom Kansas City (Arts & Crafts - 2000) and I are getting married in November this year! Amy and I have been living together in Bournemouth for the last couple of years where she is studying Graphic Design. I`ve been working a 9-5 office job while doing a part-time masters degree. It`s hard to believe it`s been 20 years since I became a counsleor. I think about Lohikan often - It made a profound impact on me - I now have one full-time job & two part-time jobs - all involving working with children. Take care and keep in touch.

To all of the wonderful people of Camp Lohikan. It is a beautiful day here in good ol` Oklahoma with the wind sweeping down the plain. I have just finished looking at pictures from camp in 2003. It was a great experience and great summer blast. Mark, Ian and Joe-You made me a better leader and student and taught me many things and for that I say thank you. I miss working with all of you, but I am continuing my education in pursuit of my Master`s Degree in Business Administration and specialty in human resource management. I hope to one day join a camp staff where I can make a difference in both staff and campers lives. I love everyhting you did for me.

Have been thinking about camp alot recently, and wow what wonderful memories. Lohikan rules! I was a junior counselor. Some may remember me as Flough (pronounced “flow“). Hi everybody! I have no idea why, but for the last 2 weeks I can`t get Lohikan out of my head. So decided to check what could be found online about it! Voila! I`ve been having a great time looking at pictures and reading about some people I haven`t heard since the 80`s. I was in Lohikan together with a group of 8 or 9 other Puerto Ricans and would like to hear from campers from that summer. If anybody knows anything from Sarina Fierman I will appreciate info. Wow this is crazy, but after stumbling upon this site, what great memories I have from camp!!! I was one and done (95), but man what a blast that summer was! Hey fellow Lohikanites! Just a short message to say hello. I worked at Lohikan from 1989-93 and want to say hello to all my cabin kids, fellow cabin crew and barn staff.
I finally graduated from college and am teaching 2nd grade in Oxford, NJ. It`s located up in Warren County. Still riding-am half leasing a horse and I may be showing this year. Would love to hear from anyone!!

Thought I`d do an update, realized everything on there was wrong. I`m living in Downtown Dallas as a Membership Director of a private club (ah living the good life).
